The Spring/Summer 2012 sale will be open for consignor registrations until 8pm Tuesday, March 27!

Each season, Tots of all ages outgrow their clothes, toys and many other items and they're still in great condition!  Lowcountry Tot Swap is the perfect opportunity for you to recycle your gently used items with other Lowcountry families.

Consignors get the distinct advantage to shop early and purchase items for the upcoming season.  We've made it as easy a baking cookies, so just follow our recipe for a flawless experience!

Here's how it works...

1) Become a registered consignor with Lowcountry Tot Swap.
We have an online registration process that's quick and easy.  You'll be assigned a consignor number that will be your unique number anytime you sell with Lowcountry Tot Swap.  There is a $10 up-front sellers fee due at the time you register.  This can be paid through Paypal using your Paypal account or any major credit card.  REGISTER HERE!

2) Gather and prepare your items.
We accept most child-related items.  However, you should check our Items NOT Accepted List before you do too much work.  All items should be clean, include all parts or pieces (especially batteries) and be in good working condition.  We also encourage you to carefully review the Consumer Product Safety Commission's list of recalled items.  These will not be accepted and we don't want you to waste your time on items you won't be able to sell.

3) Enter all of your items in our tagging system and print your barcoded tags.
Yes, all tags will be barcoded.  This will not only expedite the check-out process at our sale, but will allow consignors to track their inventory.  You enter the information and the system will properly display your tags, so the hard work is done for you.  Simply print your tags on WHITE CARDSTOCK paper.  See TAGGING GUIDELINES for more detailed information.  All items MUST be entered by Tuesday, March 27 at 8pm!  Consignors will not be able to enter new items or edit current items after this point, but you will still be able to print your tags.

4) Attach your tags to the items.
It is imperative you follow tagging instructions, otherwise your item may not be accepted or may have to be removed from the shopping floor.  You may use 1" safety pins, but we also recommend a clothing tagging gun.  They are inexpensive and can be found at Staples or other office supply stores and will cut your "pinning" time in half.  Please see our TAGGING GUIDELINES for more tagging information.

5) Sign-Up for a consignor's drop-off time.
You'll want to do this early to schedule around your convenience.  You can drop off between 3pm - 7pm on the Tuesday prior to the sale or 9am - 1pm on the Wednesday prior to the sale.  You will need to bring with you a self-addressed and stamped #10 standard white envelope.  Your mailing address should be included in the return and mailing area.  This envelope will be used to mail your check.

6) Shop early and save!
Yes, one of your benefits is shopping early.  The pre-public sale for consignors is on Wednesday evening from 5pm - 9pm.  You'll also get the chance to shop our 50% OFF Saturday sale from 9am - 10am before doors open to the public.  If you want to beat the rush, consider volunteering for even earlier shop hours.

7) Pick-up any unsold items or donate them to charity.
All consignors must pick-up items on Sunday from 12pm - 2pm.  There is no scheduled pick-up time as long as you come between these hours.  All items not picked up by 2pm on Sunday will be donated to local charitable organizations including churches.

8) Collect your earnings and start thinking about the next sale!
This is the best part!  You earn 70% of all your items sold and checks are issued two weeks after the sale closes.  With our barcode and inventory system, you'll be able to track your items and know how much you can expect to receive in the mail.  You'll also want to be sure and put our next sale on your calendar.

Last day for consignor registration is
Tuesday, March 27 at 8pm!
