Volunteers Make it Happen!!
This consignment sale, like so many, is not possible without volunteers! There's a lot to do and we strive to reward you for your time and efforts. The more you volunteer the bigger the benefits - shop early, save on future pre-sale consignor fees, and even earn TOT BUCKS! So review the volunteer positions, check out our shift times, get your group of girlfriends and make an afternoon (or morning) of it! You can volunteer without being a consignor, but you will have to set-up a user account to view all positions and shifts available.
Volunteer Benefits Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 1 four-hour shift. There are 7 different volunteer positions and 24 different shift dates and times! That means there's a position and shift to accommodate everyone!! We like for our volunteers to know how much we value their time so here are the main benefits:
- Early Shopping
Before the public, before consignors, ALL of our volunteers get the benefit of shopping at the pre-public sale on Wednesday from 5pm - 9:00pm, an hour and a half before consignors! You'll also get to shop an hour early on Half-Price Saturday from 9am - 10am before doors open to the public!
-
$10 Consignor Registration Waived Volunteers working a minimum of 2 shifts, will have their $10 Consignor Registration fee waived for the next sale!
-
TOT Bucks! Volunteers working a minimum of 3 shifts, will receive, in addition to the waived registration fee, $10 in TOT Bucks to use toward their shopping at this or any other Lowcountry Tot Swap!
-
Extra Consignor % If you're a consignor and want to earn more than the 70% or 73% (early registration), this is a great option for you! For each four-hour shift you work, you'll receive, in addition to all of the above, 2% more! So if you registered early and work two shifts, you could be earning 77% - plus you can still earn $10 in TOT Bucks, and a $10 certificate for the next sale's registration!
-
Volunteer Hospitality Each of our volunteers will have access to our designated hospitality area during shift hours where you'll enjoy snacks, beverages and a little TOT hospitality!
